Pancake Day 2008 is officially February 5, 2008. Because that day is Super Tuesday in the United States, a day when a large portion of the primary elections will be held, The Free Pancake Day (”National Pancake Day”) held by The International House of Pancakes - IHOP (A US based restaurant chain) has been moved to February 12, 2008.

A previous Pancake Recipes Carnival was held back in May 2007 and in that Recipe Carnival we did a Famous Blogger Survey of Famous Bloggers and whether they had any pancake recipes or anything else about pancakes posted on their blogs. Not much has changed since then. If you have an interest you can read the results of that survey at the bottom of this post on Pancake Recipes.

Next week The Carnival of the Recipes will be hosted at Straight From the Farm and will be dedicated to Restaurant Recreations.
