What else do you eat at New Year’s?
Black eye peas, sausage and cabbage is our usual eats.
I have only cooked fresh purple hull peas. When they’re not in season, I admit that I buy canned black eye peas.
You’ve inspired to me to try your recipe. I have a slow cooker and I’m not afraid to use it. hahaha
