Peach Pound Cake – Pound Cake Recipe

Peach Pound Cake
1 cup, plus 2 Tbsps. butter, 2 1/4 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 cups
all-purpose flour,divided, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, and 2 cups
chopped fresh peaches.
Grease a tube pan with 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle pan with 1/4 cup sugar.
In a bowl, gradually cream remaining sugar with rest of butter. Add eggs, one
at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix well.
Combine 2 3/4 cups flour, the baking powder and salt, gradually add to creamed
mixture, beating until well-blended. Dredge peaches in rest of flour, and then
fold them into batter. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake at 325 degrees for
one hour and ten minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.

flour and sugar.
