Hawaiian Dream Cake

1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix

1 small box vanilla instant pudding mix

1 large can crushed pineapple

2 cups milk

chopped cherries , chopped nuts and coconut

1 8 oz . cream cheese

4 small bananas

1 12 oz. Cool Whip

2 cups sugar

Mix cake and bake , according to directions on box ; use milk instead of water . Cook in a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan . When cake is done , leave in pan and punch holes in it . Have 2 cups sugar and pineapple just to a boil ; pour over cake . Let cake completely cool .

Mix Cream cheese in a bowl with mixer ; slowly add 2 cups cold milk and instant pudding . Spread on cake and cool in refrigerator so pudding will set . Cover cake with bananas ; cover with Cool Whip . Sprinkle coconut , cherries and pecans over cake . Refrigerate 2 hours before serving
